Educational Research: Insights and Applications, Companion Website

Education Research: Insights and ApplicationsThe purpose of the Companion Website is to provide information that supplements the content of Educational Research: Insights & Applications. Look in the upper left hand corner of this screen, and you will see a horizontal list of headings: HOME, STATLINKS, FULL TEXT ARTICLES, and CHAPTER SUPPLEMENTS. You are currently on the home page.

Click on "STATLINKS” and you will see the URLs for Vassarstats, Randomizer, and Statcalcs. These websites contain free, user-friendly programs that will assist you with the statistical information presented in chapters 5-9.

Click on “HOME.”

Click on “FULL TEXT ARTICLES” and you will see several articles that are referenced in the book. These articles are online for your convenience.

Click on “CHAPTER SUPPLEMENTS” and you will see three headings: Activities, Updates, and Supplemental Readings.

Activities are optional, chapter-related exercises or problems related to the content in individual chapters. Your instructor may or may not make these assignments.

Updates are corrections or supplemental comments provided by the authors. It is important to check for inserts prior to reading each chapter.

Supplemental Readings are recommended research articles organized by areas of professional study. The articles reflect the content presented in the textbook as applied to actual research within your field. The readings change frequently to allow for a focus on current work in your profession. Insights into the work of others will be invaluable as you investigate the development, implementation, and reflection of your own research topic. This is a bibliography only, so the entries are not linked directly to the actual articles.
